I didn’t lose friends, I just realized I never had any.

For a moment I found it.
That feeling, the one I’ve been searching for my entire life. The one that made all the bad days worth it… I knew it was too good to be true. I knew it was fleeting- that in the morning I’d wake up and the glow of your eyes and curve of your check against mine would be just a tipsy memory. But in that moment your words made me high with interest, your laughter sparked mine like wild fire, and your sideways glances towards me in the passenger seat made my chest warm. You reminded my heart how to beat in my chest and I gasped in surprise. It had been a such long time since I felt alive.

Love can come when you’re already who you are, when you’re filled with you. Not when you look to someone else to fill the empty space.

The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.

I hope there are days when you fall in love with being alive.
